Al Miller turns himself in

AL Miller, the clergyman in whose company former Tivoli Gardens strongman Christopher 'Dudus' Coke was found, has turned himself in to the police.
A police source said Miller handed himself over to officers at the Organised Crime Investigative Division at Orange Street in downtown, Kingston about 2:00 pm today.
Miller was instrumental in bringing into custody Coke's siblings, Leighton 'Livity' Coke and his sister Janet who were named as persons of interest.
Yesterday, police Commissioner Owen Ellington appealed to Miller to hand himself in as the police were interested in interviewing him.
"From our standpoint, we believe that he needs to come in and speak with us because there are some questions that he needs to answer," Ellington said.
Miller reportedly told police that he was escorting Coke to the United States embassy in Liguanea as Coke had expressed fear for his life.
It is not clear whether Miller will spend time behind bars or be charged for aiding and abetting a known fugitive.
"We can only confirm that he has turned himself in. We are not prepared to say much more at this time," head of the Constabulary Communications Network, Inspector Steve Brown told the Observer.

Rev Miller should not get any reward, he did not turn in dudus, or give any information as to the whereabouts of dudus....They should not give anyone who knowingly withheld information as to the whereabouts of a know fugitive of the law ANY REWARDS...This will send the wrong message.

a croft, the reason many black people end up in jail in america most times is down to way much more than them not taking advantage of the opportunities handed to them. in fact, it is more down to the dis-advantage of the opportunities forced on them.
if the authorities find that mr. miller have a case to answer i am sure that he will be charged.
blessed love

It makes perfect sense that the police should want to question Mr. Miller. However, I believe it is clear to EVERYONE that the gentleman's INTENTIONS were not to commit a crime. He has a REPUTATION for helping accused persons to turn themselves in. All this fuss about arresting Mr. Miller is unnecessary. We're too excited about this whole matter. For crying out loud, Mr. Miller should be allowed to sleep comfortably in his bed tonight. He is an asset to Jamaica.

I heard one asking for Miller to be arrested when he carried in Livity and Cokes sister, so why is everyone calling for his head.
Al Miller did the right thing, to prevent Dudus from being killed. If he had not done what he did yesterday, Dudus would have been on ice today " killed in a shootout" mark my word.

If you were to talk to an ordinary Black American they will tell you that they do not think America is that bad. They have their flaws but they try to deliver justice fairly. Please recall all the successful black and minority Americans. Many people do not take advantage of the opportunities that are handed to them; that is the reason they end up in jail most of the time; as it is in many other countries. They have a lot of legal protections here. They are willing to die to preserve those rights.

The law must be allowed to take its course. It's unfortunate that a man of the cloth is involved in such bangarang. His intentions were probably good, but his execution was probably illegal. May God be with Rev. Miller at this time.

My views are not in support of wrong doing, but rather in support of the Black man. Just recently a American Barrister Told Perkins on line, that the Black Man is more likely to be executed in America than the White: There must be a demonstration against this One sided, unfair extradition treaty. There is no rights for Black people in America. Their Prisons are like Slave Camps, I was Told.
Is this all the administration in Jamaica have to offer?; it must stop. It's disgraceful; outdated:

If Miller is not arrested for this breach then I know Ja is not serious about lawlessness, Miller knows he was supposed to advise Dudus to contact his lawyers,he's practicing jungle justice. Arrest him.,enforce the law , police must also say why they let him go yesterday also why he wasn't picked up but allowed to say when he'd turn himself in . BOLOGNA
