TRIPLE world record holder Usain Bolt led home countrymen Asafa Powell and Yohan Blake to win the 100-metre sprint in 9.84 seconds in Paris today.

Bolt, who was a little shaky at the start, drove past Powell for an easy win, while Blake held on for third.

The race was run at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis and saw Bolt collection US$250,000 in appearance fees.

The world's fastest man did not appear too troubled by an achilles tendon injury which kept him out of competition for several weeks.
