Cops kill man at Trevennion Road

A man was fatally shot by police from the St Andrew Central Division this afternoon.
He has not yet been identified.
Police report that they went to a premises at Trevennion Road and were challenged by the man. During an ensuing shootout the man was shot.
An illegal firearm was seized.
He was taken to hospital were he was pronounced dead. Cops at the hospital displayed a high-powered handgun which the claim to have taken from the dead man.
