Deejay Errol Scorcher to bury Sunday

THE funeral for late entertainer Errol Scorcher is scheduled for this Sunday at the Macedonia Seventh Day Adventist Church on Maxfield Avenue, St Andrew at 11 a.m.
Interment follows in the Meadowrest Memorial Park in St Catherine.
Errol Scorcher, whose real name is Errol Archer, passed away in the Spanish Town Hospital, St Catherine, on Thursday, January 19 from a ruptured blood vessel in his head.
He was 55 years old.
Born in St Catherine, Errol Scorcher was born in St Catherine and emerged on the music scene in the early '70s as a deejay on several sound systems. During this period, he released a single Leggo Mi Hand Babylon.
He got the breakthrough in 1979 when he recorded the hit song Roach Inna Di Corner.
He is survived by his fiancee Dorna Brown and nine children.
