Every Little Thing premieres

Wednesday, March 20, 2013

The premiere of Every Little Thing — a musical based on Cedella Marley's book of the same name -- took place at the Adventure MTC Theatre in Glen Echo, Maryland, last weekend.

It was attended by children of reggae legend Bob Marley including his daughter Cedella and son Rohan, as well as several of his grandchildren.

An excited Cedella spoke about the musical which was inspired by her father's song, Three Little Birds.

"The Three Little Birds adaptation and performance were lovely. The music, set, costumes and performance were full of beautiful positive energy. I am overjoyed to see how my father's music and my book have impacted all walks of life," she told the Jamaica Observer.

Other Marley songs in the production include Smile Jamaica and One Love.

The play is scheduled to run until April 15.
