KES the Band to take Mas Camp on Saturday
Thursday, March 21, 2013
MAS Camp will be transformed into the fantastic world of the Phantom of the Opera on Saturday, when title sponsor Digicel takes over Bacchanal Fridays.
Creative dancing by L'Acadco, operatic melodies by opera singer Anna Strachan, exciting 'Masquerade' giveaways and explosive soca music by Trinidad's KES the band, will be the order of the night.
KES the band, a familiar face among soca fans is ecstatic to be back on the 'Rock'.
"This is the first stop after Trinidad for our I.O.K. tour, so it's great to kick things off in Jamaica! Bacchanal always throws a crazy party and we're excited to be hosting it with our friends at Digicel," KES said.
Highlights for the night will include an opportunity to win 4G Mobile Samsung handsets, plus an opportunity to win a Digicel Masquerade costume by simply requesting credit from an overseas number.
"Like all soca fans, we are looking forward to Digicel Night because that's the night we really get to turn up the heat and fittingly close the Mas Camp nights as we prepare for Beach J'ouvert and Road March. Kes is well-loved by Jamaicans so we know Mas Camp is going to enjoy this week's performance - it's going to be pure excitement and we're encouraging everyone to come out and have fun like a true Bacchanalist", said Tahnida Nunes, Digicel's Senior Sponsorship Manager.
The Bacchanal series will culminate on April 7 with the highly anticipated Road March which will be preceded by Beach J'Ouvert on March 30.
