THE results of the Grade Six Achievement Test are to be released to schools on Friday.

The results will indicate the Grade 7 placements assigned to all 48,200 candidates who sat the examination on March 25 and 26.

The students were from 797 public schools and 207 private schools. Included in the number are 17 home schooled children.

Parents and guardians are to report to the school their child currently attends for the examination results.

Scholarships awarded on the basis of performance on the GSAT and on criteria established by sponsoring bodies are to be published within two weeks of the release of the results.
