Gay expects fast race against Carter in Zagreb
Tuesday, August 31, 2010
ZAGREB, Croatia (AP) — Tyson Gay is expecting "one of the fastest races" of the year when he comes up against Nesta Carter of Jamaica at a Zagreb meet tomorrow, with both sprinters having set the lowest 100-metre time in 2010.
The American ran 9.78 seconds in London on August 13, and Carter matched that time at the Rieti Grand Prix in Italy on Sunday.
Gay beat world-record holder Usain Bolt earlier this month. He said yesterday that his ultimate aim is to win gold at next year's World Championships in Daegu, South Korea.
Gay says "I'm sure Bolt wants it too. But if I do my absolute best, I could beat him."

Hold your head high Mr Gay, we still need you in the race to represent the mighty USA. Jamaica is the conquering Lion of Track and Field , which was once held by the mighty USA. Now is our time. Usain Bolt, Nesta Carter, Asafa Powell, Yohan Blake is a force for you to reckon with for many years ahead Mr Gay.

LOL, Gay, my yute, instead of worrying about the "Ligthening" you should be fretting about Nesta and Yohan. As for W C 2011, "The Sprint Factory" of the world (Jamaica) will take care Gay and the rest of the Americans!!
