Man murdered in St James

THE Mount Salem police are investigating the murder of a man at the Cornwall Gardens Housing Scheme in St James last night.
The dead man has been identified as 27-year-old Lloyd Barrett, 27, of Cornwall Gardens.
Police report that about 11:30 pm Barrett was playing dominoes when a group of men drove up in a Toyota Corolla motor car and opened gunfire, hitting him.
He was taken to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he died.
