Wednesday, October 20, 2010
Administrators and directors of the North East Jamaica Conference of Seventh-day Adventists — which covers the parishes of Portland and St Mary — were sworn in on Saturday to give spiritual and administrative leadership to the region for the next four years.
The Service of Installation took place at the Dover Seventh-day Adventist Church in St Mary.
Pastor Arlington Woodburn, who has served the church in various capacities for the past 34 years, was installed as president while Pastor Agustus McLeod and Michael Thompson will serve as secretary and treasurer, respectively.
