FORTY-year-old nurse, Gigette Fletcher-Anderson, was killed after she was swept away by flood waters along the Long Hill main road in Anchovy, St James yesterday.
Anchovy Police is that about 3:00 pm, Fletcher-Anderson was travelling in a Honda Civic motor car with other relatives. On reaching a section of the main road that was inundated, the car was swept away.
Fletcher-Anderson’s body, with the head bashed in, was later found in the flood waters. The Anchovy Police are investigating.
