She's no stranger to posing in her underwear, but Pamela Anderson stripped for a different sort of photo shoot yesterday as she launched a new competition for phone company Nokia.
Wearing a variety of sexy outfits, Pamela, who became infamous for the notorious sex tape she filmed with her then husband Tommy Lee in the 1990s, reclines on a bed in a hotel room. The photographs have been released after it was announced that the 43-year-old will be filming a bedroom scene with a complete stranger for a short film called The Commuter. Her co-star will be organised by Nokia through the new competition, and the film will be shot on the company's soon-to-be-launched N8 handset. It will also have a London premiere, to which winners will be invited. In addition, fans will have the oportunity to win the chance to appear alongside Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick in another scene, shot in a lift, for the movie. John Nichols, head of marketing at Nokia UK, said: "We wanted to create something very special for the launch of the Nokia N8 that showcases the Hollywood quality of its camera." Details will be available at www.starwithpam.com and www.starwithed.com.
Despite shooting to fame playing CJ Parker in hit television series Baywatch, Anderson said recently she wants to steer clear of on-screen acting. She said: "I feel that, at this point in my career, I don't want to do another television show. I don't want to do a film... Being halfway through my life, I think we start feeling less invincible and we start thinking more about the important things. I've always been involved and now I feel like this is where I should be headed, more so than wearing bikinis."

Serena Williams wears a really wild outfit to cheer on sister Venus
The Williams sisters are well known for their competitiveness on the court but it seems they're not averse to a little battle in the sartorial stakes either.
After Venus, 30, made a stunning appearance on court at the US Open on Sunday in a black sheer tank dress, her sister Serena went for a wild animal print dress on Monday that certainly made her stand out from the crowd. Serena wore an ultra clingy leopard print dress which hugged her every curve. She also wore huge earrings and flashed her bling-tastic manicure as she sat courtside with friends and her mother Oracene. Although Venus chose to wear a brighter pink version of the unusual tennis outfit on Monday, it didn't prove quite as eye-catching as Serena's wild number. However, Venus is unlikely to mind Serena hogging the attention, as she was also full of praise for 28-year-old Serena, who is currently the world's number one female player. Venus, whose outfits have often raised eyebrows in the past, was playing at Flushing Meadows in New York. And she told fans: "So far this year my outfits have been based on the cities that I play in. This outfit was supposed to be about New York. It's like bursts of fireworks." Venus has worn different dresses for each of her three appearances so far in the current tournament, and hopes to continue that trend as far as the final. "Seven is a lot of dresses. It would be an honour to wear seven dresses all the way through," she said.

Mel B recalls bitter paternity battle with Eddie Murphy
Mel B broke into tears as she recalled how former lover Eddie Murphy failed to acknowledge he was the father of their baby daughter. The former Spice Girl said being pregnant with Angel Iris was "a horrible time". Beverly Hills Cop star Murphy, 49, initially denied he was the father of the tot, born in April 2007, but a DNA test later confirmed that he was indeed the father.
In the first episode of her new reality TV show, Mel B: It's A Scary World, she opened up to her family therapist about the dark time in her life and revealed that Murphy has now begun to see his daughter and spend time with her. She talked after father-of-eight Murphy invited Angel and the rest of Mel's family to the Los Angeles premiere of his new film, Shrek Forever After. She told the therapist: "Angel is three-and-a-half and I didn't expect her real biological father to all of a sudden pop back in our lives. I think because in my mind I fought so hard for justice at the very beginning of my pregnancy. I was, like, hanging my head in shame because people were like, Oh, is that the father, or isn't it? I had people calling me a gold digger, saying that I got pregnant on purpose. It was a horrible time." Mel appeared with husband of three years, movie producer and her business manager, Stephen Belafonte, for the therapy session.
