KINGSTON, Jamaica — Police were on Friday reminded that as the Christmas season approaches, the use of firecrackers and other pyrotechnic articles become more prevalent, however, an import licence is required to bring these items into the land and those found activating, discharging or throwing them in any public p ...more »
The continued devaluation of the Jamaica dollar seems in tandem with the grand design to make the US dollar so expensive that the government will have to start looking at different ways to import food into the country to feed the jamaica people. What does this mean? Since it now requires more of our own currency to purchase one US dollar, the implications for the local credit system, as well as the availability of local currency will be untenable, if it is not already.
The Bank of Jamaica, through its Governor, has consistently lamented that this is not cause for concern and that at the appropriate time they will take action. But, the wisest among us know that the BOJ has absolutely no control over the slide in the dollar. Why is that though? As frightening as it sounds, the Government and the BOJ are not in charge. There are greater powers in this world that determine which currencies rise and fall.
I am assuming it is now common knowledge that China and Russia now trade in crude oil in the Chinese currency, which by extension will have serious implications for the almighty US dollar. It is estimated that, by 2017, China's currency will become the global reserve currency — a privilege now enjoyed by the US. Does one think that all this is by chance?
The recent revelation of Azurest Cambridge International not being able to provide the 1 per cent security is really no surprise. It is believed that the company was promised financial backing from their international bankers. But the bankers later withdrew, of course attributing this decision to bad media publicity, thereby allowing the Chinese consortium Energy World International to become the preferred bidder. Does one think that all this is by chance?
At the moment the power brokers of the global economy are in favour of China rising to world dominance in an effort to destabilise the US currency and economy. The upcoming financial collapse of that economy will make the great depression seem like a picnic.
These happenings are just the tip of the iceberg of what is to come. World events don't just happen by chance, they are made to happen and our leaders and governments have no control over them because they are just puppets in this grand design.
I implore the masses to think carefully on these things.
