POLICE are investigating the death of Michael Clayton, a 37-year-old tractor operator of Exeter, Clarendon.
Clayton died after the tyre plug of the tractor he was operating in a cane field got loose and hit him on the head.
He was taken to the Lionel Town Hospital then transferred to the May Pen Hospital but died while being treated.
The incident occurred on Thursday.
