Westmoreland bartender killed

THE Whithorn Police are probing the circumstances surrounding the death of 24-year-old Jodian Griffiths, a bartender of Cairn Curran, Westmoreland in her community last night.

Reports are that about 7:30 pm, residents reportedly heard explosions and summoned the police. On their arrival, they found Griffiths’ body with multiple gunshot wounds on the roadway. The scene was processed and the body removed to the morgue.

Investigations continue.
