Deean Fontaine, the Nigeria-based attorney-at-law, curator and owner of fashion boutique du jour EtAl, hosted a group of industry women last Thursday at a sip 'n'shop event – part of the Jamaica Observer Takes Style Out . Indeed, EtAl took style out with doorbuster discounts up to 85% off all accessories, and Ankara-printed garb in-store. The women in attendance enjoyed browsing the sumptuous and extensive autumn/winter 2018 collection, which featured batik-printed cocoon jackets, gilded openwork overcoats, and even minimal dresses with pops of print. There were, also, complementary Ankara print tunics for the gents. AW Fashion makes an African reconnection.
