LADIES, it's time to get your notepads, pens and pencils out. A few men have some ugly truths that you may not want to hear, but they just might be the reasons you're still single and labelling all men as trash.

Do any of these comments sound like your exes? We asked men to give some relationship tips to women, and this is what some of them had to say:

Andre, 25, barber:

Stop searching the man's phone! If you don't trust a man, that is your problem. If you get up every day and accuse him of things, and watching him like you expect him to do something, it is only a matter of time before him get fed up and do it.

Kenny, 29, auto repair technician:

I would advise women to think about the men's feelings sometimes. We just laugh off some things or say sorry to be peaceful, but more while women can be selfish and only think about how a situation will make them feel, without stopping to think that we have feelings too.

I had a girl who got upset when I didn't buy her anything for her birthday, after she didn't even remember when mine was a few months earlier; she cried and said that mine was a long time ago and she didn't take me seriously then.

Jerome, 24, student:

Why is it that women love to call up all their friends, bawling as soon as the man even looks at another girl, and that is okay, but if they even suspect that your bredren knows anything that happened between you two they get hurt?

That is a double standard and it needs to stop. You cannot be in your “girlfriends” Whatsapp group chat talking about the details of our sex life if I can't say anything at all to anybody.

Kevin, 27, medical student:

My only relationship tip is for women to know what they want, and don't take up the men who you know are wrong for you then argue with him for being wrong for you.

If you are going to “take a girl man” only to cry that you don't trust him when you are together, what's the point? Better you sign up for Christian Mingle.

Sean, 34, taxi operator:

Women just need to understand that a man cannot stay with them all day, every day. Sometimes things do come up. Some girls feel like if the man want a night out by himself, or with his friends, he doesn't want her anymore or he is looking someone new. Men need to breathe sometimes.

Junior, 30, accountant:

Stop nagging your man. Action speaks louder than words. If you're nagging me about something every day, you just break my vibes from doing it. It better you talk one time, then wait to see if anything change. Don't come start an argument anytime you see me, just to get on my nerves.
