Moving on too soon?

How long should a woman really take to move on after a failed relationship? Should there be a period for healing? There is a stereotypical view that a woman who moves on too soon or too fast is a “fast girl”, so the women below weigh in.

After my break-up, I met someone a few days later and I'm not going to lie about it, I moved on. Yes, we got intimate within four days and no, I had no regrets. We are currently engaged to be married in December of this year.

There is a strong level of hypocrisy in the world because when a man moves on immediately or even in the middle of a break-up, no one comments, but as soon a woman decides to get up and move forward, she is this and that. The world is just not level.

There is no such thing as too fast. If I met someone right after and the vibe is right, I don't see why not give that person a chance. I mean, I am single! If I think I need time to get over something, fine, but if I think I don't and I just want to get me another man, it is my prerogative.

It can be too soon if right after you break off one relationship, you go into another. We all need time to heal and really look into ourselves to determine what happened and if we are really ready to move on. I couldn't just jump out and jump in.

I think a woman should take time, especially if the break-up was a horrible one. I think this is best.
