THERE is no denying that trainer Steven Todd has hit the purple patch of his life.

Simply put, the winners just keep on flowing for the young conditioner, and there seems to be no end in sight.

That flow was again evident on Saturday as Todd escorted two more of his horses to the winners' enclosure.

First up was Stir It Up in the third race. Stir It Up, ridden by the now bubbling and in-form Anthony Thomas, romped the seven-and-a-half-furlong (1,500m) race for five-year-olds, beating second-placed Dash Board by seven commanding lengths.

Cheers was third, with Zackontheattack in fourth place.

Todd's second winner followed immediately in the fourth race with jockey Oneil Scott — himself on the revival train — who pulled out all the stops to get Tashie Baby home by three-quarters of a length over the onrushing Connor (Douglas Badaloo). Mr Romantic (Kerry-Gayl Robinson) finished in third spot.

Todd has now trained 24 winners thus far in 2017. Both Stir It Up and Tashie Baby are owned by Garth Samuels.
