Boss Izzy, trained by Fitzgerald Richards, and the Spencer Chung-trained Cheerleader released their maiden tags at Caymanas Park on Saturday.

Ridden by Dane Dawkins, Boss Izzy (He'stherealthing – Intensified) had to pull out all the stops to get the better of Mighty Crown (Linton Steadman) and Rage Of The Angel (Oneil Scott) by a neck in a driving finish.

The time for the five-furlong (1,000m) straight event was 1:01.1. Meanwhile, Cheerleader (Storm Craft – Zunzun), under Aaron Chatrie, made one move to win her five-furlong (1,000m) straight race by over four lengths in 1:01.

Raksha (Omar Walker) was second and Lady Eli (O'Brien White) third. The win by Cheerleader provided Chung with his seventh winner for the season
