He is a quiet individual who seeks to keep away from the limelight most of the time. Yet, year after year, trainer Patrick 'Wacky' Lynch brings home the winners.

On Saturday, the trainer continued his good recent form by producing Executive Charm in spanking condition to win the night pan, a non-winners of three, four-yearold and up race over six furlongs (1,200m).

Ridden by the bang in-form Dick Cardenas, Executive Charm raced prominently throughout before moving in the straight on the rails.

A fierce duel developed with Mister Bones (Robert Halledeen), with Executive Charm just being able to win on the line by a head. Newton's First Law (Andree Powell) was third.
