UPDATE: Two dead in Hanover shooting

HANOVER, Jamaica — The police have released the names of the teenager and the driver of a public passenger vehicle who were shot and killed last night when the bus in which they were travelling came under heavy gunfire in the community of Dundee Pen, Hanover.

The two have been identified as 18-year-old Shanoya Murray of an Askenish address and Tose McKenzie, 37, also known as 'Ray Ray', of a Johnson Town address in Lucea.

Reports are that shortly after 7:00 last night, the bus was travelling with a number of passengers along the Lucea to Askenish road when it came under attack by armed men.

An undisclosed number of passengers were also injured in the incident and were taken to the Noel Holmes Hospital in Lucea for treatment.

The Lucea police are investigating.
