NEPA urging business to renew environmental permits

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The National Environment and Planning Agency (NEPA) and the Natural Resources Conservation Authority (NRCA) are now urging business owners to regularise their environmental licenses and permits.

In a newspaper advertisement today the authorities stated that business should take advantage of licenses and compliance drive, which started on December 1 and ends on December 31.

Businesses are being encouraged to renew 2017/2018 licenses or make applications for Beach Licenses, Environmental Permits and Water and Sludge Environmental Licenses.
