Keeping your weight loss resolution

THIS is potentially a wonderful year for you. Just how wonderful it will be depends largely on your better choices and ability to stay the course, according to your new year's resolution.

For those of us who have resolved to improve or maintain our fitness this is especially true, as it is literally in your hands. It is all up to you. What you put in your mouth, what you lift and how you move won't always be easy, but it will be an invaluable change.

In last week's article 'Join the 10% who keep new year resolutions', we looked at the difficulties associated with keeping our resolutions and looked at four tools which will help you keep your weight loss goals.

These are:

1. Setting achievable goals for yourself;

2. Connecting with a support person, team, system, or organisation;

3. Keeping a notebook to track your resolutions;

4. Continuously re-establishing your motivation.

These tools are all included in the Intekai Wave Diet System. The following testimonials were submitted by a few Intekai members who live with its benefits and effectiveness every day.

Michael Myles

“G! I really have the words, but putting them in a logical and coherent sequence is what is difficult. What I will chalk it all up to is that this Intekai (ITK) Wave Diet System is absolutely amazing! It is SUPERCAIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS! I feel better, I look better and mentally and emotionally it has done wonders for my confidence and self-esteem. I am a better man in many ways as a result. Thanks to the ITK team... Thanks, Karen, for the day I saw you in the gym and had to 'faas' and ask you how on earth were you able to look so great! Before, I had reservations about taking my shirt off in public — now I am on the beach and boom! Shirt off! Love it guys, love it!“

Myles has lost 35 pounds on the ITK Healthy Lifestyle System.

Phadra Saunders

“I'm lighter, feel happier, healthier, and more confident about my appearance. I no longer second-guess myself or feel self-conscious when I walk into a room. I understand how to portion my meals and what to eat at what times to maintain my weight, and I'm healthy and happy. No deprivation; balance in my diet.

All this I got from being in the ITK system. Simple, easy to follow and I am supported and cheered on as I make progress! I've learnt about myself and what I've learnt about eating and how to maintain my best weight are lessons for life! Thank you, ITK.”

Saunders has lost 34 pounds on the ITK Healthy Lifestyle System.

Zoe Saunders

“ITK has really changed my life. Before I thought it was impossible for me to reach the weight that I'm at today. But through ITK's specialised diet and the ITK team's continued support, I was able to lose over 40 pounds in about five months! This weight loss completely changed my life. I have gotten more active, have since participated in 5Ks with the ITK team, and most importantly have gained higher selfesteem. I doubt I could have accomplished all this without ITK.”

Zoe has lost 44 pounds on the ITK Healthy Lifestyle System.

I look forward to the success of everyone who has resolved to improve their wellness this year, hitting and maintaining their goals as these 'ITKarians' have. Whether you choose to journey on your own or with a support team as these champions have, remind yourself daily of your convictions and your short-and long-term goals, and, in so doing, you will be paving your way to a healthier and happier 2018.
