A young man on a bicycle who together with another man held up a woman with a knife and robbed her of an expensive phone is to know his fate on June 29.

Jamie Cuff, 21, of Lincoln Road in Kingston, was remanded for sentencing after he pleaded guilty to robbery with aggravation in court on Friday and was remanded for sentencing after he pleaded guilty to simple larceny.

The court heard that on June 12, around 10 pm, the complainant was walking along Hope Road when Cuff and another man, who were both on bicycles, held up the complainant and robbed her of an iPhone 7 valued at $80,000 and rode off.

Cuff was, however, captured shortly after with the phone in his possession.

When he was cautioned, he reportedly told police: “Officer a nuh me alone.”

Attorney Clifford Smith, who is representing Cuff, asked for a social enquiry report. Cuff was remanded by Judge Vaughn Smith.
