Rebuilding a rocky relationship
Relationships are a mix of emotions — sometimes you are comfortable and other times you may feel like walking away. There's good news, though: once love remains in the relationship, the two parties can fix even what seems to be the most irreparable relationship.
So:
Start the day off correctly
Do things for your partner out of love, expecting nothing in return. Just do it.
Communicate on the regular
Just because you may live together doesn't mean you can't use technology to improve your relationship. Send suggestive text messages; flirt with your partner. Send them cheesy love notes and express how you feel in writing. Rekindle that old fire.
Do random acts of kindness
Don't wait for an anniversary or birthday to show your love. Do it by spontaneously sending your partner gifts or doing something special for them. There doesn't have to be a reason behind it.
Make date night a priority
Plan a day each week or month to do something with your partner. It could be going to the beach on a weekend, watching a movie one night, or going for lunch. Just ensure that you set time aside for your relationship and stick to it.
End the day correctly
Never go to sleep angry. Try to talk things through until you reach a solution. Handle it and get back on good terms.
