Cornwall College will continue the defence of their ISSA Champions Cup KO title on Saturday, when they meet Clarendon College in the semi-finals, set for National Stadium, starting at 4:00pm.
Cornwall College qualified for the semi-finals for the third time since 2016, after another late comeback last Saturday, to beat St George's College 3-2 on penalty kicks after coming from behind to earn a 1-1 draw.

On the same day, Clarendon College beat St Andrew Technical 2-1 in Kingston to book their spot, while Kingston College and Jamaica College will meet in the other semi-final.

The two rural area powerhouse teams will be meeting in the semi-finals of the all-island competition for the second time, after Cornwall beat Clarendon College 3-2 at Sabina Park in 2016.

Frome Technical just missed joining Cornwall College in the semi-finals after losing 1-2 to Kingston College, giving up a goal in time added as their season came to an unceremonious end.

The defeat of Frome Technical in the Champions Cup and along with Manning's School and Anchovy High in the Ben Francis KO first round last week, left Cornwall College as the only team from western Jamaica with any title aspirations.

Frome were beaten 1-2 by Manchester High in the Ben Francis KO last week; Manning's lost a lead and were beaten 3-2 on penalty kicks by St Elizabeth Technical, while Anchovy were edged 1-0 by BB Coke High.

On Saturday in the Champions Cup KO, Cornwall College trailed for the first time in weeks when St George's College took the lead from the penalty spot in the 63rd minute, when Nathaniel Campbell converted.

Cornwall clawed their way back into the contest in time added when Brandon Curate also scored from the penalty spot, and the Montego Bay school went on to win in the penalty shoot-out.
