By now, everybody must have heard about the show-stopping Audi R8 Spyder. Well, it was among the most expensive rides at the recently concluded REVOLUTION show hosted by ATL Automotive last weekend. Here are the top five at the show.

Make: Audi
Model: R8 Spyder
Price: $35,000,000

When Audi moved into the supercar game, they came with the R8 and soon the model was being mentioned in the same breath as the other established players in the market. Already blessed with a powerful 540bhp V10 engine sitting in the middle of the chassis and plenty of grip from its standard Quattro four-wheel drive system, the Spyder adds the next level, the ability to electronically lower its retractable soft-top roof and listen to the sonorous notes from its exhaust system. At only $35 million, the R8 is a bargain to enter automotive nirvana.

Make: Porsche
Model: Panamera 4S
Price: $29,650,000

Need supercar performance, everyday livability, and the ability to transport four people in total luxury at any velocity. To quote Brian Bonitto, Associate Editor — Auto & Entertainment, who drove the Panamera in Mexico in January, “trees at the side of the road appear to rush by as they try to keep pace with the 440bhp and 550 Nm of torque produced” from the 2.9-litre V6 engine. So serious is the Panamera at its task, that it’s strictly a four-seater sedan. The passengers are kept insulated in leather and have all the modern convenience features they could want.

Make: Porsche
Model: Cayenne Turbo
Price: $28,000,000

Many may think of the Cayenne as either a raised Panamera or the brand’s infamous 911 Turbo turned into a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV). They’d be both right and wrong as Porsche leveraged its expertise in performance and luxury to put the real Sport in SUV. The figures speak for themselves with 520bhp, a 0-60 time of 4.5 seconds and the comfort of a four-door sedan on and off-road.

Make: BMW
Model: 6 Series Gran Coupe
Price: $19,950,000

Want the space of a four-door sedan, but the sporty look of a coupe? Then there are few places to look other than the 6 series Gran Coupe. BMW themselves sum things up as a Coupe, expressed in four-doors. Of course, like every BMW, performance is embedded. However, custom options abound for those with deeper pockets.

Make: BMW
Model: M4
Price: $19,800,000

BMW may have decided to split the M-moniker across its sedans and coupes for better brand identification, but that doesn’t mean they’ve lost the plot. The M3 coupe may now be called the M4; however, other than that it shares the same philosophy as its four-door sibling, amazing performance in a mid-sized package. Having lapped the famous Nurburgring in 7 minutes and 52 seconds, the potent rear-wheel drive coupe is able to dash to 60mph in 3.9 seconds.
