Bridge work resumes Monday

Friday, July 13, 2012

Due to the National Works Agency's (NWA) intervention, construction on the Queensborough Bridge in St Andrew is expected to resume on Monday after several weeks of cessation.

According to NWA's CEO EG Hunter, his organisation intervened in the stand-off between contractors China Harbour Engineering Company and its subcontractor, YP Seaton and Associates.

New deadline for the opening of the bridge is September.
