Cars to Go hosts show
Friday, February 08, 2013
Montego Bay-based used-car dealership Cars to Go held a a show at its Catherine Hall location in St James on January 26.
The event, hosted by veteran broadcaster Barrington 'Barry G' Gordon, brought out hundreds to experience the wide range of vehicles the dealership had on sale at discounted prices.
"We even had the Mayor of Montego Bay and his deputy in attendance," said Keisha Baldie, Cars To Go managing director of the 11-year-old dealership.
Attendees browsed the displays such as the ever-popular Nissan Tiida.
A 2005 Mercedes-Benz was on hand for those with expensive tastes. Commercial clients were catered to as well with a selection of Hiace freezer-vans. The choice and massive deals proved irresistible to some.
"We sold three cars on spot. Several others are in the process," said Baldie.
The show also highlighted Cars To Go's buy-direct system which plugs customers into 60 Japanese used-car auctions and over 100,000 vehicles from which to choose. Purchases via the buy direct system arrive in six weeks.
The next show is planned for April.
