THE Jamaica Classic Car Club (JCCC) made Father's Day special for patrons lucky enough to catch their display at the Just For Dads Classic Car Show at Farm Village Café in Church Pen, Old Harbour in St Catherine, last Sunday.

"One of our members was involved in the event so we decided to have our regular monthly meeting there," Shane Angus, JCCC president, told Auto.

Members of the JCCC from around the island congregated at Farm Village Café for a day of fun, food and music. Among the 15 cars present was a nice selection from Mandeville's premier collector, Victor Dixon Jr. The display proved to be a hit with the sons and fathers present as they browsed the cars while several mento acts that performed.

"There's no question that men love cars and this brings something new to the area, as Old Harbour has never had anything of this nature before," said Kovic Lewis, marketing officer for Farm Village Café.

Lewis added that many of the patrons had never seen a couple of the classic cars before and they gave positive feedback on their inclusion.

"We intend to have them back at some point in the future," Lewis said.
