JAMAICA Millennium Motoring Club will laud their finest at the Annual Awards Presentation Ceremony at The Knutsford Court Hotel in New Kingston, St Andrew, tomorrow at 7:00 pm.
Receiving the evening's top award is Rallysport Champion Matthew Gore.
"It feels great to win, especially given the challenges we faced up until the very end," said Gore, who had taken the title in 2010.
For him, it was a long and hard-fought battle to reclaim the title from 2011 champ Kyle Gregg. He spent most of last year tussling with JA2 class rivals Jordan Powell and Daryl King in both the National Rally and Sprint championships. His victory came down to the last event in December.
"I went into Rally Jamaica trailing Jordan [Powell], not expecting to win. When he dropped out on the first day, it was at that point I knew we had a chance. I just had to finish," Gore said.
For 2013, the plan according to Gore is simple: just win.
