GRENNELL'S Driving School will be two days of training for Forklift Operators seeking on November 12 and 13 in conjunction with the National Safety Council of the United States.
"The training is mainly to certify forklift operators since there's no ability to do so locally," Alphonso Grennell Managing Director of Grennell's Driving School told Auto.
Overseas instructor Dr Wellesley Scott will teach the 16-hour sessions aimed at bringing operators up to speed on the theory and practical elements along with the safety aspects associated with the job. Dr Scott brings a wealth of person knowledge and experience to the training programme.
"He's actually been here before in other capacities and is Jamaican by birth," said Grennell.
Once completed, those that have done so successfully will receive international certification.
