Hamilton returned as used-car group head

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Lynvalle Hamilton, principal of Auto Channel Limited, was returned as president of the Jamaica Used Car Dealers Association (JUCDA) at the group’s annual general meeting held at the Pegasus hotel in New Kingston, Thursday night.
Hamilton, who has held the position since 2010, said it was great feeling to know his colleagues appreciated his work.
“I intend to continue the work that I am doing with regards to finding an amicable solution to the contentious issue of the model-year discrepancy issue facing the industry,” he told the Jamaica Observer.
He said talks were underway with the government.
The elected members comprise Keith Brown, vice president; and Charmaine Lee, secretary/treasurer.
The directors are Gordon Baldie, Errol Rose, 
Kern Francis, and Tariq Malik.
