MONTEGO BAY, St James
A 2012 Range Rover Evoque and a 2012 Porsche Cayenne Turbo, together worth $31.7 million, were among the high-end vehicles on display at Jamaica Motor Show held at the Dump Up Beach in Montego Bay last Saturday.
The 2012 Porsche Cayenne Turbo attracts a price tag of $23 million, while the 2012 Range Rover Evoque Coupe, is valued at $8.7 million.
Ian Lyn, chief executive officer of Firm Marketing Agency and organiser of the event, expressed confidence that the luxury vehicles will be sold.
"The Range Rover Evoque Coupe, I believe, will sell. The Porsche Cayenne Turbo will need the right kind of customer to purchase that one. The Evoque Coupe has an even better opportunity because of the great work that ATL Automotive has been doing in promoting the Range Rovers locally. There is a major buzz because of what Adam Stewart in particular has been doing with ATL," Lyn told the Auto.
Montego Bay was the last stop for the motor show which showcased used-car offerings. Previous stagings were held in Kingston and Mandeville.
