JASON Dobney, Kenton Nelson, Leon Samms, and Jahmar Rose were all winners in the precursor to Digicel's Brighten Someone's Christmas promotion.

They each collected gift packages of a Digicel Pocket WiFi 4G Broadband modem and a $5,000 gas voucher, at the Jamaica Observer's Beechwood Avenue office on Thursday.

"The contest was originally supposed to be run for a week, but we've had such a great response from the Observer's Auto readers it was extended another two weeks," said Annalise Harewood, head of recharge Digicel Jamaica.

The four represented the two winners per week over the last two weeks of the contest.

For Dobney, his continued interest in the Auto section has paid dividends, as this was his second time collecting a prize having won in the run-up to RAV4 promotion.

"I know how it goes by now," said Dobney after accepting his gift package and posing for his picture.

Winning has made an impact on Samms, who actually forgot he'd entered the contest and was surprised when he was contacted.

"Normally I would just skip past the contest stuff, but I won't be doing that again," he said.

Regular readers Nelson, who was collecting on behalf of his sister Kayan, and Rose stated they would continue to participate in competitions.

One lucky Digicel customer will win a new 2013 Range Rover Evoque as part of Digicel's 'Brighten Someone's Christmas' promotion.
