Petroleum marketers form new association

EVERT Palmer — chairman of United Petroleum (Ja) Ltd (UNIPET) — was elected president of the newly formed Jamaica Association of Petroleum Marketers Ltd at a special general meeting held at the Hotel Four Seasons in St Andrew recently.

Palmer will have Gordon Craig, managing director of Total Jamaica Ltd, as his vice-president along with Sharon Thomas, general manager of IGL Limited, as treasurer. Carmen Chen was appointed as secretary/manager.

Members of the association are Chevron Caribbean SRL, Epping Oil Company Ltd, Gas Products Ltd, IGL Limited, Petroleum Company of Jamaica Ltd, (PETCOM), The Antilles Group Ltd (TAG), (formerly Cool Petroleum Ltd), Total Jamaica Ltd, and United Petroleum (Ja) Ltd (UNIPET).
