Redesigned Isuzu D-Max on target

AFTER its October debut through local dealers Vehicles and Supplies, the 2013 Isuzu D-Max pick-up is doing exactly what it was designed to do -- be a success.

"The market response has been excellent," said Donald Panton, managing director of Vehicles and Supplies.

Based on the sales trends, the D-Max has been drawing new customers to the Isuzu fold, while still keeping the interest of the older brand faithful.

Panton noted that while the buyers have been a mix of commercial and private, the most telling factor is that the best seller is the fully loaded LS model, with four-wheel drive, double cab and luxury interior. This means the key part of the revamp, which was to make the current generation D-Max just as suited for work as it is for play, has worked.

Persons in the market for a pick-up will find themselves with a little extra early Christmas present, a bicycle and carrier installed for free while stocks last. Vehicles and Supplies will also have special pricing for the holiday season on the D-Max.
