CALL it true love, but businessman Floyd Plummer believes there's no other brand for him than the MINI marquee.

Jamaica Observer's weekly Auto magazine caught up with him at last Saturday's inaugural MINI End of Summer Road Tour in Portland. The event was organised by ATL Automotive, local distributors of the iconic small car.

"I'm here all because it's a MINI event. It's everything that a car could deliver for me. It's the car that really drives me," he said.

Plummer said he has owned a total of three before; the first of which was in 2008.

"I have owned a regular, Cooper S and a Countryman. I ordered a John Cooper Works which should be coming in a few days," he said.

And what is it about the MINI he loves?

"The speed, the comfort, the suspension... it just filled with all that you're looking for in a small car. It has everything in a small vehicle," he said.
