Design Time at Observer

Business Social

Wednesday, September 20, 2017

The Jamaica Observer has sought to build out yet another niche in need of closer attention: the built environment and the associated realms of interior and product design.

Dubbed Design Week JA, this latest retail innovation will close the month of September with a week of activities, running from the 24th through the 30th, across the Corporate Area's home improvement and interior design enclaves.

Speaking at its launch held at the Jamaica Observer boardroom yesterday, conceptualiser Novia McDonald-Whyte, the over 20-year-old tabloid's lifestyle and social editor, said it was the publication's mandate to elevate conversation around design on The Rock.

The Jamaica Observer's staging of Design Week JA partners with the Victoria Mutual Group, Appliance Traders Limited, and Business Access TV.

Business Social mingles with design industry players who, once again, are ecstatic at the opening of another avenue that channels The Rock's economic potential.
