AT the Sage Partners Caribbean Conference held on November 6, at Hilton Rose Hall in Montego Bay, Jamaica, visiting Sage executive Tom Miller expressed satisfaction with Sage's performance in the Caribbean. According to Miller, Sage Caribbean has grown its revenue significantly year over year, with an impressive 32 per cent increase in revenue in 2011 over the previous year. Amongst other things, he attributed this growth to Sage's strong network of Caribbean partners and in particular a strong performance from the Sage Accpac product line. At the awards ceremony, Miller recognised the performance of Jamaican technology companies, Orbus Technologies Limited and CER Consultants Ltd, who both picked up awards.

For the second year in a row, Orbus Technologies Limited picked up the event's top award, which was for the "Highest New Licence Sales in the Caribbean". CER Consultants picked up the "Highest Installed Base Sales in the Caribbean".

In a recent press release, Orbus Managing Director Paul Collister expressed his satisfaction at receiving Sage's top award for the Caribbean for the second consecutive year. "We are extremely happy to have received this award, which is testament to the excellent work of the Orbus team. Our goal is always to provide solutions that work for our clients."
