LIME offers premium services for multi-office firms
LIME last week unveiled its most advanced networking solution, 'Global Connect', designed to deliver a rich array of data connectivity services to power multi-office businesses.
Ideally suited for regional and multi-national businesses, LIME said it will offer simultaneous transmission of data, VoIP and video services via its extensive network of under-sea fibre optic cables connecting the Caribbean, South and North America.
Tony Abdo, regional solutions director of LIME's parent company, Cable and Wireless Plc, last Thursday explained the technology to country managers and information technology managers from multi-national firms doing business in Jamaica, during the Data Connectivity and International Capacity Seminar hosted at the Knutsford Court Hotel in Kingston.
Norman Naar, head of LIME Business, told the seminar that what sets Global Connect above similar services is the fact that LIME is "deeply rooted" -- backed by its LIME's multibillion-dollar investment in the best method of ultra-high-speed data connectivity that extends thousands of miles throughout the hemisphere.
"What LIME offers over our competitors are multiple fibre-optic routings and redundancy services that allow our customers to achieve greater variety and reliability for 'mission critical' data services," said Naar.
