NCB's Sheree Martin appointed to Advisory Board of Chief Marketing Officer Council

Sunday, August 22, 2010

NCB's marketing head, Sheree Martin, has been named to the Latin American Advisory Board of the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Council, a global network of more than 5,000 senior marketing executives controlling an estimated US$150 billion in annual marketing spend.

As senior assistant general manager of marketing, communications and service delivery for NCB and CEO of the NCB Foundation, Martin has made her mark as a superior marketer, earning her due recognition by the prestigious group of international marketers. In welcoming Martin to the Council, executive director Donovan Neale-May said, "Sheree has an impressive background in marketing and management, and her work at the NCB Foundation is quite admirable."

In her new capacity as Board member, Martin is looking forward to the opportunity to work with the group of some of the world's most prominent and respected marketing minds.

"I value the recognition for my performance in the field and I intend to use this appointment to broaden my network and exposure to first world marketing practices with the primary objective of sharing my experiences with my local peers and contributing to the advancement of the marketing profession in Jamaica. I would also like to influence the admission of more Jamaicans to the CMO Council," she said.

The CMO Council is dedicated to high-level knowledge exchange, thought leadership and personal relationship building among senior corporate marketing leaders and brand decision-makers across a wide-range of global industries.
