Sandals resorts in MoBay celebrate female managers

Female managers at Sandals Resorts in the Montego Bay region were in the spotlight at a pre-celebratory event at Sandals Montego Bay last week to mark International Women's Day (celebrated annually on March 8). The event celebrated the achievements and invaluable contribution female managers make to the three Sandals properties in Montego Bay — Sandals Royal Caribbean, Sandals Montego Bay, and Sandals Inn. They serve various executive and management functions across the three resorts in areas such as housekeeping, public relations, guest services, operations, landscaping, weddings, finance, human resources, travel and sales, food and beverage, and training and development. They have been lauded for their stellar contributions to the Sandals team and have copped coveted Sandals awards, such as Manager Of The Year, with their departments being named Department Of The Year. There are approximately 35 female managers at Sandals Resorts in the Montego Bay region who will be honoured later this year at the Women Empowerment Forum held annually in the region to motivate, inspire and celebrate female managers and their respective teams.
