Were I in a spot where I found that a week or so ago I had doubts about the usefulness of Audley Shaw's honest, open and democratically legitimate challenge to Andrew Holness's leadership of the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP), I would now be saying to myself — after witnessing Mr Holness's initial difficulty in controlling the disruptive behaviour of senior members of the JLP who support him — that his inconsistency and lack of leadership have solidified in my mind the necessity of a challenge.
Last Monday, one particular political remnant of the past, Central St Catherine MP Olivia 'Babsy' Grange, was out in full force.....
