Dear Editor,

The Jamaica Observer front-page story on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 had tears rushing down my face.

How can we treat our people like this? How can we make our people suffer like this?

After 30 years, is this the thanks a country gives to a teacher who has made hundreds of lives better?

This kind of disregard for people who have given and sacrificed for their country makes me sick to my stomach.

When is Prime Minister Andrew Holness going to deal with the management problems at the Ministry of Education, Youth and Information?

Something is wrong there, Holness. If you cannot see that, Sir, maybe I wasted my vote in 2016.

I am not pleased with how some ministries and top officials treat people with total disregard.

Do better, Holness, I am pleading.
