Dear Editor,

I have continually made the case that one of the biggest differences between the governing Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) and the Opposition People's National Party (PNP) is in what one does versus what one didn't do.

Prime Minister Andrew Holness has been making rounds at a lot of ground-breaking ceremonies since assuming office. Every one of these ceremonies manifests into a completed project.

Contrast that against the PNP's reign, over which ground was broken for so many things and extremely few ever got off the ground, if any at all.

For the first time in decades Jamaicans are now actually believing that a project a Government announces will actually come to pass. That in and of itself speaks volumes. And that confidence in the word of the Government will deepen the trust factor that is so essential to the proper functioning of a democracy.

The ability of the JLP, under Holness, to implement things, and to connect the many pipelines (literally) is its strength.
