POLITICAL Ombudsman Herro Blair, says this morning's meeting with the two main political parties to discuss concerns raised about erecting of political flags and banners during the election campaign, has been pushed back for later today.

Blair explained that the meeting was rescheduled based on request and agreement between the General Secretaries of the Jamaica Labour Party and the People's National Party.

"The General Secretaries for both the JLP and the PNP have agreed to reschedule the time," said Blair.

The Ombudsman has warned that following the meeting, which is closed to media, he would be outlining plans to take action against persons caught committing the breach.

Bishop Blair last week reported that his offices continued to get an average 10 calls per day regarding the erecting of banners and flags.
