$1 million for Dream Weekend patrons
Friday, July 20, 2012
On Tuesday, the Smirnoff Dream Weekend team made appearances at various locations across the island to celebrate the 'Smirnoff dream day' and give away tickets.
Approximately $1 million-worth of tickets to the popular week of parties in Negril was given away to the public.
According to Marsha Lumley Brand manager Smirnoff: "Consumers are the centre of this promotion, we thought that it would be great to give back considering that the consumers have made us the number one party weekend on the entertainment calendar. Essentially we have made their dreams come true."
At the locations, random persons were selected from the crowd and questioned about the Smirnoff Dream weekend. Those who answered correctly were rewarded with a coveted season band, a prized bottle of Smirnoff vodka and the hot new Zip FM Magazine.
"Dream weekend is right around the corner, and no doubt we are excited to see what is in store. They are so unpredictable, but we cannot expect anything less than the best in food and entertainment," commented Patrice Gibbons, one of the winners.
