THE release of reggae artiste Anthony B's latest album Tribute to Legends will coincide with his performances at the Reggae on the River festival in California on August 3.

The album features production work from Jyorken Kennedy of Masterone/Born Fire Music as well as Train Line Records.

"I chose to make a tribute album to firstly show how much these legends influence my music and my life. I think a lot of our young people need to know where we are coming from musically and to better help them in the future," said Anthony B.

The 16-track album features covers of songs from 10 musical legends including reggae icon Bob Marley, ska/rock steady pioneers Toots and the Maytals, former Beetle John Lennon, Ray Charles, Elvis Presley, and Peter Tosh, Ini Kamoze, and Israel Vibration.

Tracks on set include Burn Iniquity, Pomps and Pride, Suspicious Minds, Can't Stop Loving You, Oh Jah Remember I, Stepping Razor, Imagine, Psalm a Day, and Trouble You a Trouble me.
